The Grant included initiatives that contribute to the formation of trust and mutual understanding between peoples, the development of scientific, educational, cultural and sports cooperation, the preservation of historical memory and the strengthening of humanitarian values.

The Contest is aimed at developing international partnership, strengthening intercultural dialogue and promoting the values of public diplomacy.

Svetlana Smirnova, Chairman of the General Council of the World Peoples Assembly, First Deputy Secretary General of the World Peoples Assembly, member of the Presidential Council for Interethnic Relations of the Russian Federation, noted that the Contest aroused wide interest among public figures from different countries and confirmed that the topic of unity based on universal values is more relevant today than ever:
«When we conceived this Grant Contest, we had no idea what kind of response it would elicit. We are sincerely glad to see that there are many active, caring people and organizations in the world who think not only about the present, but also about the future of humanity. Each application reflects trust and the desire for unity. We are grateful for the initiatives that have come from all over the world. They contain a living energy of cooperation, respect, and willingness to serve the common good. The Grant Contest is not just about supporting projects, it is a step towards forming a community of people capable of building a new world — humane, open, and worthy. And it is important for us to walk this path together».
The Expert Council of the Grant Contest has started evaluating the projects. Key criteria: relevance and social significance, realistic plan and budget, international scale, partner support and team competence.

The winners will be announced on September 1. The award ceremony will take place within the World Public Assembly on September 20-21, 2025 in Moscow.
