The moderator of the platform, Ivan Belekov, adviser to the Head of the Altai Republic, Head of the Representative Office of the World Peoples Assembly in the Altai Republic (Russia), is the author of the concept of the discussion. The main idea is the special mission of Altai as a space of spiritual unity.
"Altai is not only the guardian of the most ancient layers of Eurasian culture. This is the region of the planet where the dominant features of the Eurasian civilization are most vividly reflected: polyethnicity and poly-confessionalism. Orthodoxy, Islam, Buddhism, Tengrianism, Judaism, other traditional movements and religiously healthy beliefs are an integral part of Altai's identity and historical heritage in the real life of its peoples," - Ivan Belekov notes.
The main purpose of the panel session is to strengthen the role of Altai as a dialogue platform of a Eurasian scale. The participants will discuss the topics of intercultural dialogue, co-creation and synergy of the peoples of Eurasia, as well as ways to form a renewed ideology of Eurasian integration.
