The modern world is facing large-scale challenges: economic and political fragmentation, profound demographic shifts, the consequences of the introduction of breakthrough technologies, as well as growing social and economic inequality both within countries and globally. Under these conditions, the countries of the global majority have a historic opportunity to form an adequate response, which is to build a new, sustainable platform for long-term growth. This involves the transformation of the global economic architecture through the development of advanced technologies combined with strategic investments in human capital and quality of life. In this paradigm, humanitarian principles and social responsibility come to the fore in international economic relations.
The Business Forum "Social Responsibility of Business: Investing in the Future" will become the central platform for discussing this agenda. It will take place on September 21 as part of the World Public Assembly.
The discussion focused on the principles of building trust-based and long-term international business partnerships, the social responsibility of business, the role of public diplomacy in creating a favorable business environment, as well as models of effective partnership between the state, the private sector and civil society.
Among the confirmed speakers:
Mamodou Kwidjim Toure, CEO of Ubuntu Group (South Africa);
Kan Zaw, Minister of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations of Myanmar;
Saleumxay Kommasith, Deputy Prime Minister of Laos.
The moderator of the platform will be Alexander Ageev, Doctor of Economics, Director General of the Institute of Economic Strategies of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
The Forum's program includes not only a discussion of global challenges, but also a presentation of specific ways to solve them. The focus is on the transformation of the global economic architecture, the development of advanced technologies and strategic investments in human capital.
Presentations of successful projects and panel discussions are planned as part of the event.: "From people's trust to the trust of economies: the humanitarian foundations of international partnership" and "The role of business in economic integration in the era of global change".
In addition to expert sessions, the Forum participants will present new technologies, investment projects and innovative products, as well as conduct B2B negotiations. An international business agreement signing ceremony is planned.
More than 30 companies from different countries will present their products and technologies in a special exhibition.
