The purpose of the session is to analyze the transformation of the Commonwealth, identify points of sustainability, identify vectors of joint development, and develop approaches to strengthening humanitarian, cultural, economic, and social and diplomatic ties.
The experts will discuss issues of concern to all CIS member states:
• What makes the CIS a vibrant and relevant platform in the 21st century?
• What areas have already moved from formal cooperation to conscious partnership?
• What place can the CIS occupy in the new balance of global forces?
• How can the Commonwealth countries promote their cultural and humanitarian potential outside the region?
The venue will bring together representatives of the CIS Executive Committee, relevant institutes, scientific centers and non-governmental organizations of the CIS, scientists, experts and public leaders from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan. A number of speakers have already confirmed their participation. Among them are:
