The first stage of the evaluation of applications for the Grant Contest "Trust and Unity" has been completed
A meeting of the Expert Council was held to evaluate the projects submitted for the first Grant Contest "Trust and Unity", announced by the World Peoples Assembly. The meeting formed a shortlist of 20 projects. The next stage of individual evaluation of the works began.

The Contest is aimed at developing international partnership, strengthening intercultural dialogue and promoting the values of public diplomacy. Experts analyze the relevance and social significance of projects, compliance with priorities, logical coherence, the realism of goals and plans, the reasonableness of costs and their correlation with results, the scale and international status of the project, the competence of the team and development prospects, the level of international partnerships and support, as well as information openness and opportunities for media coverage.
The Expert Council includes recognized experts in the field of public diplomacy from different countries: Salaam Fakhri Hannah Altwal, Head of the Representative Office of the World Peoples Assembly in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, President of Avicenna, Senior Specialist at the United Nations Development Program (Jordan); Dshajani Irina, Chairman of the Association of the Eurasian Partnership (Verein fur eurasische Partnerschaft) (Austria); Sukruti Narayanan, Director of Business Development and Communications at the Australian media and IT conglomerate MEWorld (Australia); Sabirov Kabuljon Kasimovich - Deputy Secretary General of the World Peoples Assembly, Director of the SCO Center for People's Diplomacy in Uzbekistan (Uzbekistan); Igor Vasilyevich Khalevinsky - Member of the Supreme Advisory Council of the World Peoples Assembly, Chairman of the Council of the All-Russian Public Organization Association of Russian Diplomats (Russia); Victoria Chitungu - Director of the Livingston State Museum (Zambia), Svetlana Stefanova Sharenkova - Deputy Secretary General of the World Peoples Assembly, Chairman of the Bulgaria-Russia Forum (Bulgaria).

"The level of projects presented is very high," - said Igor Khalevinsky, Chairman of the Expert Council, "And we are pleased with their humanistic orientation, which contributes to the development of all mankind."
The acceptance of applications for the Grant Contest "Trust and Unity" ended on July 30. In total, 76 projects were submitted from organizations from more than 60 countries around the world. The proposals include initiatives to build trust between nations, promote intercultural, scientific, educational and sports cooperation, and preserve historical memory and humanitarian values.
The results of the Contest will be announced on September 1. The receipt of grants and the signing of contracts are scheduled for September 20 on the sidelines of the World Public Assembly in Moscow.
