The Future of Global Cooperation will be discussed at the Panel Session “Community of Shared Future”

«The World Public Assembly should become not just a friendly gathering, but a turning point in the formation of a multipolar worldview. Developing powers, especially from Eurasia, can lay the foundations for a new world order based on mutual respect and historical truth», - said Dr. Muhammad Asif Noor, Director of the Institute of Peace Studies and Diplomacy (Pakistan).

Dr. Muhammad Asif Noor will present a speech at the Panel Session “Community of Shared Future”. The Session will bring together leading international experts to discuss key issues of global development.
29.07.2025
Sergey Sanakoev, Moderator of the Session, Deputy Chairman of the Russian-Chinese Friendship Society, Chairman of the Commission for the Promotion of Trade and Economic Cooperation and Entrepreneurship, Deputy Chairman of the Business Council of the Russian Far East and Northeast China, President of the Asia-Pacific Research Center, member of the Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC), told about the profound meaning of the meeting on the sidelines of the Assembly:
 «The theory of the community of shared future was first voiced by Chinese President Xi Jinping at MGIMO during a historic visit to Russia in 2013. Since then, the countries that form the Global Majority, that is the countries of the SCO, BRICS, the Global South and the Global East have joined the China and Russia duet’s vision. We are all residents of one “village” called Earth, and our task is to build a world without the domination of one civilization over others, a more just, secure and multipolar world».
The participants of the Session will talk about what multipolarity is and how to ensure real equality between countries. What is the role of the major powers and what obligations do the leading countries assume? How is regional development being implemented and what formats of cooperation are the most effective?

The pool of experts in the international discussion is represented at the highest level. The speakers are prominent political and public figures. Among the invited there are:
Dmitry Novikov, Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs (Russia);

Muhammad Asif Noor, Director of the Institute for Peace and Diplomacy Studies (Pakistan), stressed that the participants expect concrete results from the First World Public Assembly:
«For too long, global discourse has been defined by a narrow circle of States. This forum can make a difference by enhancing the intellectual, cultural, and strategic perspectives of the Global Majority. As someone who works closely in Central Asia and in the region as a whole, I expect that the Assembly will contribute to the creation of specific mechanisms for youth leadership, models of peace-building, and strengthening interfaith trust. We don't need another round of vague calls for unity, here we need the political will to act in the name of common humanity. The real test will be whether the Assembly creates strong networks that can play an active role and promote dialogue across the region in the interests of the economy and security of all of us».
