The World Peoples Assembly announced the First Grant Contest to Support International Projects

Projects in the field of international cooperation will be able to receive the support of the International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations "World Peoples Assembly". The Grant Contest "Trust and Unity" is timed to coincide with the First World Public Assembly, which will take place in September in Moscow

The Grant Contest is aimed at developing international partnership, strengthening intercultural dialogue and promoting the values of public diplomacy.

For the Grant, organizations can propose initiatives that contribute to the formation of trust and mutual understanding between peoples, the development of intercultural, scientific, educational and sports cooperation, the preservation of historical memory and the promotion of humanitarian values.

Who can enter the Contest?

Russian non-profit organizations registered at least 6 months prior the deadline for accepting applications. The Contest prerequisite is that projects must be implemented in partnership with foreign organizations, both in Russia and/or in another country in accordance with its legislation.

As a result, the Contest aims at creating an international network of cooperating NGOs from different countries. Its joint projects will support partnerships between states.
The maximum Grant amount is 1 million rubles.

We are waiting for those who, through public diplomacy, build a dialogue between peoples, develop intercultural, scientific, educational and sports cooperation, preserve historical memory and promote humanitarian values in different countries of the world, to apply for the Grant Contest. We pay special attention to youth initiatives, because it is the young who determine the horizons of the future," — says Svetlana Smirnova, Chairman of the General Council of the Assembly of Peoples of the World.
The projects are to be implemented between January 1 and June 30, 2026.
The Contest nominations are based on the priority activity areas of the World Peoples Assembly and can be found in the Contest Regulations.
Important! One organization can submit only one application!
Applications will be evaluated by the Expert Council according to the following criteria: relevance and social significance of the project; realistic plan and budget; international scale and partner support; competence of the project team.
The application is submitted via an online form on the official website of the World Public Assembly (www.worldpublicsummit.org). Once the application has been sent, changes cannot be made to it.
