The World Public Assembly, a global platform for the search for shared meanings, will host participants from more than 130 countries. The program includes plenary sessions, the World Congress of Writers, youth and media forums, the festival of national cultures and other events.
A panel session "Latin America – Greater Eurasia: Era of New Strategic Opportunities" will be one of the key discussion platforms.
Latin America is a dynamic center of a multipolar world with economic leaders such as Brazil and Mexico. The region has great potential for the development of public diplomacy: there are active civil society institutions and many NGOs here, implementing social, humanitarian, educational and cultural projects. This creates a solid basis for building trust and international relations.
The discussion will be focused on effective formats of cooperation between Greater Eurasia and Latin America; the implementation of projects or how to overcome the challenges of long distances and limited funding; the relevance of Russian practices in Latin America for the protection of historical memory and traditional values; the introduction of modern digital solutions in traditional formats of public diplomacy and other issues.
The composition of the experts is unique. Leading public figures, scientists and cultural leaders from Latin American countries will take part in the discussion: Adilson Araújo (Brazil) – President of the CTB Brazil, Rubens Ricciardi (Brazil) – conductor, Head of the Symphony Orchestra of the University of Sao Paulo, Juan Miguel Díaz Ferrer (Venezuela) - Professor at the Diplomatic Academy, former Deputy Minister of Culture, Oscar Villar Barroso (Cuba) – Professor at the University of Havana, Political scientist, Carolina Gaspar (Mexico) – Director of the Mexico-Russia Cultural Center, Brasil Acosta Peña (Mexico) – Representative of the Movimiento Antorchista movement in the Government, Lissa Kira Bogarin (Paraguay) – Head of the anticorruption department of ESSAP, Jorge Traverso (Uruguay) - Vice President of the NGO CO.N.O.S.UR. Ernesto Guevara March (Cuba), a businessman and son of the famous Comandante Ernesto Che Guevara, may participate.

Dmitry Rosenthal, Director of the Institute of Latin America of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and other well-known Russian experts on the region have been invited to work at the venue.
