Round Table

Originality as the Basis of Development: The Ideas of N. Y. Danilevsky and Modernity

  • /
In the context of increasing globalization and the growing cultural pressure from the collective West, the need to find sustainable foundations for the development of civilizations, preserve their unique identity, and strengthen dialogue among peoples is becoming more urgent. The ideas of N.Y. Danilevsky about originality as the foundation of historical progress are particularly significant today, when cultural independence itself becomes a key resource for the anti-globalist movement, the expansion of international cooperation, and the promotion of a just multipolarity.

The event aims to unite the efforts of scholars, public figures, and representatives of foreign countries to develop concrete solutions, including the launch of international educational projects, the formation of partnership networks, and the creation of a unified textbook on the Russian language and history for a global audience.

Participants

Journalists, members of non-governmental organizations, employees of organizations and institutions of foreign states

  • What mechanisms are most effective for developing anti-globalist initiatives and strengthening a multipolar world?

  • What should a unified textbook on the Russian language and history for a foreign audience look like: balancing academic rigor, accessibility, and relevance?

  • How to build an international network of partners so that it becomes not only an educational but also a cultural and economic platform for long-term cooperation?
