Public diplomats from 17 countries have already submitted applications to participate in the International Competition “Leader of Public Diplomacy”

The documents will be accepted until July 15 inclusive.

The authors and coordinators of the presented international projects live in Afghanistan, Algeria, Belarus, Georgia, Jordan, India, Spain, Kazakhstan, Qatar, Nigeria, Poland, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, France and Croatia.

Participants send motivational videos in which they talk about what motivated them to take part in the project.

“The important components of the Project in which I am taking part are trust, friendship and cooperation between peoples. Participation in the International Competition “Leader of Public Diplomacy” opens up for me wide opportunities to establish contacts with colleagues, exchange ideas and create joint projects. I am sure that in the current tensions on our planet, the role of public diplomacy plays an important role in the development of cooperation, good neighborliness and mutually beneficial relations ,” says Marina Migits , a public diplomat from Belarus.

All finalists of the competition will receive support from the partners of the Assembly of the Peoples of the World and the opportunity to take part in the First Grant Competition “Trust and Unity”.

The project laureates will be determined on September 20, 2025, on the sidelines of the World Public Assembly in Moscow.
