Dear organizers, participants and guests of the World Assembly!
I cordially welcome you on the occasion of the opening of the First World Public Assembly "New World of Conscious Unity".
Today, humanity is going through a difficult period. The world faces serious challenges — a crisis of confidence in international relations, growing conflicts and contradictions, and changes in the global security architecture. We also face new challenges related to digital transformation, the rapid development of technology, environmental problems and the need to preserve spiritual and moral guidelines in conditions of increasing instability.
The First World Public Assembly is a space where representatives of different States, cultures, religions and social forces can conduct an honest and open dialogue, seek common ground and form decisions based on respect and responsibility.
The Assembly pays special attention to the development of cooperation with African countries. Africa today is a continent of dynamic growth, huge potential and opportunities. The expansion of humanitarian and economic partnership with African States meets the interests of the entire international community. Russia has consistently advocated strengthening ties with Africa, developing an equal and mutually respectful dialogue, and contributing to the formation of a fair system of international relations.
The value of the World Public Assembly lies in the fact that it unites not only politicians and diplomats, but also a wide range of public leaders, scientists, experts, representatives of youth, business, sports and spiritual traditions. This makes it a truly unique organization capable of developing new approaches to solving global challenges.
I am convinced that the work of the Assembly will make a significant contribution to the development of international humanitarian cooperation, confidence-building and the formation of new models of partnership. May your activities be aimed at affirming the values of goodness, justice and creativity, and become an example of conscious unity for the sake of peace and a harmonious future for all mankind.
I wish the organizers and participants of the Assembly fruitful work, meaningful discussions and new projects that can unite the efforts of the international community for the common good.
