The World Public Assembly will present the Award "For Service to Humanity" for the First Time

On September 21, 2025, on the International Day of Peace, a solemn awarding ceremony of the first World Public Recognition Award "For Service to Humanity" will take place within the World Public Assembly. The prestigious award is established by the World Peoples Assembly.

The Award is given for an exceptional contribution to the consolidation of peace, the development of humanitarian cooperation and selfless service to the ideals of humanity. It is intended to celebrate outstanding achievements in public diplomacy, as well as in international and intercultural dialogue.

«Establishing the Award, we think about the enormous potential of public diplomacy and leaders who promote unity, friendship and harmony around the world, - said Andrey Belyaninov, Secretary-General of the World Peoples Assembly. – Their work is an example of service to humanity. Today, such examples are especially needed to inspire and continue the cause, despite the difficulties and obstacles that arise. The award is a way to support these people and tell the world about their selfless devotion to peace».
Public and political figures, leaders of science, culture, education and other civic leaders who have made a significant contribution to strengthening trust between nations will become the laureates. The names of the first Award winners will be announced shortly before the ceremony.
The Council’s decision is approved by the Secretary-General of the World Peoples Assembly.
