The top objective of the panel discussion is to intensify its role as a dialogue platform, which, in the context of the Altai vector of Eurasianism, performs mediated functions as a mechanism of ethno-cultural and spiritual-historical attraction. The dialogue participants proceed from the premise that this forum has every reason to become an extraordinary form of deepening intercultural dialogue, co-creation, and synergy among Eurasian peoples; an important element in generating an updated ideology for Eurasian integration.
The fundamental task of the discussion (amidst growing systemic problems of human society, a civilizational crisis of values, and acute dilemmas in the field of information hygiene) is to draw deeper attention from the world and Russian public, national leaders, prominent political figures, representatives of international intergovernmental organizations, renowned scientists, analysts, figures in culture and education, and mass media to the most crucial humanitarian issues of modern civilization. This aims to develop strategic solutions for ensuring sustainable and secure development, based on forming the foundations of a new, more just multipolar world order architecture. The goal also lies in supporting public unifying initiatives that correspond to the strategy of cooperation among peoples under new geopolitical conditions. Among the fundamental benchmarks are strengthening a public integration model of a greater Eurasian partnership of peoples based on spiritual and moral principles, in the name of affirming peace and harmony, through intercultural dialogue and co-creation of peoples, developing multilateral cooperation and public (people's) diplomacy.
The discussion participants fully proceed from the concept that Altai is a notion more historical-civilizational than purely geographical. It is a "centre of the civilizational worlds," a treasury of cultural values of many peoples. Three fundamental world religions converge here. Altai is the ancestral homeland of all modern Turkic peoples. Confirming the ever-increasing role and value of intercultural dialogue, co-creation, and synergy among Eurasian peoples under new modern conditions, the session participants base themselves on the postulate that Altai is not only a keeper of the most ancient layers of Eurasian culture. Altai presents an organic synthesis of Euro-Asian cultural worlds, reflecting their dominant features: polyethnicity and poly-confessionalism.
Altai is the centre of the borders of Russia, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and China. It is a region of geostrategic significance, reflecting the full depth of socio-economic and humanitarian issues in the modern world, their close connection with politics, economics, military-strategic matters, international cooperation, spiritual values, and national traditions. Significant practices of cross-border cooperation, development of transboundary territories, and intercultural communication have been established here. Altai represents a true example of indomitable Slavic-Turkic unity. Experience has been accumulated that is extremely valuable for comprehension and use at the federal and international levels.
The noospheric concept of Vladimir Vernadsky and his followers, genetically linked to Altai, is acquiring pan-civilizational significance in the modern world. The origins of the thinker Lev Gumilev's work are also connected with Altai, whose theory of ethnogenesis entered world science. Much for the development of the humanistic ideas of Eurasianism was done by Nikolai Roerich, who was also closely connected with Altai. Their scientific and civilizational legacy, even under new conditions of forming the foundations of a "polycentric and polyphonic" world architecture, is capable of substantially contributing to aligning the existing world order with the inner nature of humanity; ensuring humanity's further ascent to the humanitarian-technological stage of its evolutionary development.
The fundamental worldview platform for the participants is the dialogue of civilizations, religions, and cultures, guided by the fundamental interests of peoples and containing unique value and civilizational platforms; making an active, fruitful, and sustainable contribution to world civilization, to the equality of states, respect for cultural diversity, intercultural interaction, and co-creation of peoples.
Participants of the discussion will require additional elaboration on the epistemological and historical aspects of intercultural dialogue and synergy among Eurasian peoples, public and cultural diplomacy, and other relevant and in-demand aspects of this problematics in projection onto modernity.
The results and conclusions of the discussion will form the basis for shaping, on a fundamental spiritual-worldview and cultural-applied basis, the Altai vector of Eurasian integration, a humanitarian platform for the harmonious coexistence of the peoples of Eurasia in the 21st century, which will present a New Dimension in Eurasian politics as the spiritual energy of new creation.
