The focus of the upcoming World Public Assembly is on humanitarian modernization, which puts people, their development and well-being at the very center of global transformations. In the face of modern challenges, education is the fundamental force capable of realizing this humanistic ideal.
Education is not just the transfer of knowledge; it is a key tool for building mutual understanding between people of different countries, cultures and generations. It creates civic responsibility, strengthens common values for humanity and opens up unique opportunities for cooperation, laying the foundation for a sustainable and peaceful future.
The panel session "Education and Public Diplomacy: Spaces for Mutual Understanding" will focus on the crucial role of education as a human-centered tool for humanitarian modernization. We explore the way educational initiatives strengthen international relations and intercultural dialogue, contribute to the formation of a sustainable world through mutual respect and understanding, and serve the development of personality and human potential in a global context.
The session will be attended by experts, teachers and representatives of educational and youth organizations from Europe, Russia, CIS countries and other regions. Among them are specialists in international law and educational programs, researchers in the field of humanistic pedagogy, practitioners organizing youth exchanges and school diplomacy projects.
